And if it can be measured, it can also be realized. As an Account Manager, you represent the focal point of a respected metrology brand with highly differentiated products. In this role you will leverage your established business acumen and strategic sales expertise to consult with major accounts and drive long‑term growth across a diverse portfolio of FARO Creaform solutions. You will be focused on the long-term account management of top-tier customers and strategically drive increased sales over short-term opportunities by cooperating with internal and external partners. Your covered business portfolio will contain all FARO Creaform solutions including hardware systems, SW platforms, and automated solutions. Our Account Manager works out of a home office and will ideally be based around the Dallas Fort Worth area. This position has the potential to earn a total compensation package (salary + variable) between $130,000 - $160,000. How you will make a difference @ FARO CREAFORM: <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Demonstrate FARO Creaform technology to interested and / or potential customers; </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Participation in trade shows, technical events, open-house, sales meetings and other sales events.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Ensure steady and organized follow-up on sales opportunities through emails, phone calls, etc. to ensure the expected level of sales and a sales cycle as compact as possible by using the CRM system.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Clearly identify and communicate all customer needs and specifications for the Sales Operations to prepare the quote</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Act as point of contact and provide technical support and regular follow-ups to potential customers during the evaluation period</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Report progress of all ongoing sales activities on a weekly basis during team opportunity-review, provide sales forecast, and participate to forecast review meetings.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Develop a large network of contacts and clients within the designated territory in teamwork with the Sales Manager.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Professional management of existing customers over the entire product life cycle including the identification of further business opportunities.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Protect the profit margins of FARO Creaform by organizing efficient travel and adding value; rather than discounting.</li> </ul> You have: <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Degree in mechanical engineering or relevant technical field.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">1-5 years of experience in sales in a manufacturing/technological environment.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Have a strong interest in technology and learning about technological products.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Have experience in a technical field, sales, and/or customer support.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">This position requires the ability to maintain a valid U.S. driver’s license and meet the company’s driving eligibility requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">This position requires the ability to safely lift, move, or position materials weighing up to 90 pounds on an occasional basis, with or without reasonable accommodation.</li> </ul> What FARO CREAFORM can offer you: FARO CREAFORM has excellent benefits for you and your family.
