ActivKids: Before & After School Assistant (2026-2027 School Year)

Salary & Benefits:
- Starting at $15.00/hour - $16.00/hour for 16-17 year old's.
- Starting at $16.00/hour - $17.00/hour for those 18+

• Complimentary Fitness Center and Coral Cove Water Park membership, two Coyote Crossing Mini Golf Passes, recognition awards, and social activities.

Hours:

• Part-time position (employees do not work more than 1,000 hours in a calendar year).

- Monday - Friday (6:15am - 8:45am)
- Monday (2:00pm - 6:30pm)
- Tuesday - Friday (3:30pm - 6:30pm)

Job Requirements:
Active, enthusiastic, and caring individuals needed to care for children in the park districts' Before & After School Program. ActivKids operates at all six District 93 Elementary Schools. Responsibilities include: interacting with children, encouraging social growth, and leading children in activities such as craft projects, organized games (indoor & outdoor), along with setup and clean up. Children's ages range from kindergarten to 5th grade. Opportunity for additional hours in ActivKids Days Off Club program.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with children preferred.
• Patience, caring, and enthusiasm are a must.
• Ability to interact well with parents and children.
• CPR Certification a plus.
• Staff 18+ must complete driver's abstract and train to drive park district vans/small bus.
• Must successfully pass a background check.
• Minimum age: 16
