Our product portfolio includes market-leading Career Transition and Coaching Services as well as Progression, our application for Career Frameworks and progression planning.THE ROLEResponsible for providing effective career development and job search consulting to Careerminds outplacement participants on an individual and/or group basis as directed.This is a 100% remote, 1099 contract role. THE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>Establishes rapport with participants and motivates them to achieve goals.</li><li>Guides participants through the coaching process and milestone completion.</li><li>Advises and coaches on career development, transition issues, and career options.</li><li>Coaches on résumé writing, effective marketing techniques, interviewing, and negotiating.</li><li>Documents the service delivery record in the Career Management System (CMS) for each employee serviced, according to our pre- and post-engagement guidelines. </li></ul><ul><li>Deliver other transition-related programs at the direction of a Manager.</li></ul><h2>THE MUST-HAVES</h2><ul><li>Expertise in Career Development including Career Planning, branding, resume development, interviewing, networking, social networking, internet job search, etc.</li><li>Minimum of 3-5 years of business experience and understanding of organizational structures, cultures, and decision-making processes.</li><li>Expertise in virtual coaching delivery, and savvy with technology. </li><li>A high-speed internet connection on a personal computer with reliable audio/video will be required. Must be comfortable using video conferencing tools, instant messenger tools (such as slack) and booking links.</li><li>Excellent communications, interpersonal and analytical skills.</li><li>Excellent capacity to work with a wide variety of individuals from varied educational and socio-economic backgrounds.</li><li>Excellent listener; must possess strong empathy and sensitivity to emotional reactions.</li><li>Must be self-motivated and self-directed.</li></ul><h2>THE NICE-TO-HAVES</h2><ul><li>Bachelor's Degree, specialized certifications, and/or higher degrees</li></ul>At Careerminds, we believe that diversity in thought and cultural background leads to better teams and stronger companies.
