Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Licensed Insurance Agent to join our team. This role combines sales, new business development, and customer service support. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business, assisting walk-in clients, and supporting the customer service team with policy servicing and client requests. Leads will be provided, and the position includes monthly new business production goals.


Salary Range: $45,000.00 - $650,000.00 per year

Requirements

Requirements

  • Active Property & Casualty Insurance License required (or ability to obtain quickly).
  • Previous insurance sales or customer service experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Sales-driven mindset with the ability to meet performance goals.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working in a team environment and assisting customers in person and over the phone.

Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Generate new business by selling insurance products to prospective clients.
  • Follow up on provided leads and convert them into new policies.
  • Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities within the existing client base.
  • Meet or exceed monthly new business production goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.

Customer Service & Client Support

  • Greet and assist walk-in customers in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Handle inbound calls related to policy questions, billing, and coverage requests.
  • Provide policy information, quotes, and coverage recommendations.
  • Support the Customer Service Agent with service requests such as policy changes, certificates, and renewals.
  • Help ensure a positive customer experience and maintain strong client relationships.

Administrative & Team Support

  • Maintain accurate documentation in the agency management system.
  • Assist with client follow-ups and policy servicing tasks.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and sales support.
