Working closely with People Operations, HR Centres of Excellence, and HRIS/IT teams, you will lead the review, redesign, and optimisation of end-to-end People processes to improve efficiency, simplify ways of working, and strengthen accountability across the People function.</span></p><p><span>You will help translate operational and business requirements into scalable, compliant, and system-enabled solutions, balancing global consistency with local regulatory needs. The role combines process improvement, stakeholder engagement, operational design, and change enablement to help create a more effective and employee-centric People operating model.</span></p><p><span>This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong HR operations or HR transformation experience who enjoys improving processes, influencing stakeholders, and driving sustainable operational change.</span></p><p><span> </span></p><p><span><b>Key Responsibilities</b></span></p><ul><li><p><span>Evaluate existing People processes to identify inefficiencies, operational risks, and opportunities for simplification, standardisation, and automation.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Lead the redesign and optimisation of end-to-end People processes across the employee lifecycle. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Partner with HRIS and IT teams to translate business requirements into scalable system-enabled solutions.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Support the reduction of manual processes and improve operational efficiency through automation and improved workflows.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Create and maintain clear process documentation, guidance materials, governance frameworks, and operating procedures.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Drive adoption of new or improved processes through stakeholder engagement, communications, training, and change management activities.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Collaborate across People Operations, HR Centres of Excellence, and business stakeholders to ensure processes support operational delivery and employee experience goals.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Establish clear process ownership, accountability, and escalation pathways across the People operating model.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Use service metrics, operational data, and employee feedback to identify improvement opportunities and measure process effectiveness.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Support continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen service delivery, compliance, and operational scalability across the People function.</span></p></li></ul><p><span> </span></p><p><span><b>What we’re looking for</b></span></p><p><span><b>Essential</b></span></p><ul><li><p><span>5+ years of experience within HR operations, People process optimisation, HR transformation, or HR enablement roles.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience leading end-to-end process redesign or operational improvement initiatives across HR functional areas.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Strong understanding of HR operating models, including shared services, Centres of Excellence, and regional delivery structures.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience partnering with HRIS or Digital teams to implement system-enabled process improvements (Workday or similar platforms preferred).</span></p></li><li><p><span>Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills within complex, matrix organisations.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience balancing global standardisation with local legal and operational requirements.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Analytical and data-driven mindset with experience using metrics and feedback to improve operational performance.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Excellent communication skills with the ability to create clear documentation and present recommendations effectively.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment. </span><br> </p></li></ul><p><span><b>Highly desirable</b></span></p><ul><li><p><span>Experience supporting HR transformation or operating model change programmes.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Project management or continuous improvement certifications.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience working within global organisations undergoing technology or process transformation.</span><br> </p></li></ul><p><span><span>BSI offers a competitive total reward package, an independent and varied job in an international environment, flexible working hours, and ongoing training and development.</span></span></p><p><span> </span></p><p><span><span><b>Do you believe the world deserves excellence?</b></span></span></p><p><span> </span></p><p><span><span>We are proud to be the business improvement company helping organisations become more sustainable and resilient — inspiring trust in their products, systems, services, and the world we live in.</span></span></p><p><span> </span></p><p><span><span>Headquartered in London, BSI is the world's first national standards organization with more than 100 years of experience.
