Lead the development of automated test strategies and test cases for eLxr to support Wind River’s growth in new embedded and enterprise market segments
Drive improvements to features, tools, workflows, and automation processes
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior team members
Contribute ideas and solutions for product enhancements and technical iterations
Collaborate effectively with global software engineering teams across multiple time zones
Requirements:
BE/BTech or ME/MTech in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related discipline
8+ years of experience in software development, verification, and validation
Strong programming skills in C, Python (including design patterns), Go, and familiarity with Debian fundamentals
Experience developing automation frameworks or Test Manager solutions
Experience working with emulators and virtualized test environments
Strong analytical and debugging skills
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and related tooling
Ability to create test cases from high‑level and low‑level requirements, including understanding of test input variations
Experience using automation frameworks and tools such as LAVA, PyTest, Git, Jira, and Linux‑based development environments
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis - without requirement for any type of visa sponsorship/transfer, now, or at any time in future
Must be a local resident of Greater Austin, TX or willing to relocate
