Toyota Service Dept. Rental Vehicle Agent/Customer Service Rep

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that the rental vehicles are in ready condition, preparing all rental out and return documents accurately and completely, organize daily/weekly reservations and fleet, provide customers with assistance checking out and checking in vehicles, qualifying each customer using our company rental requirement guidelines, ensure that the return date and time on the rental agreement is accurate, ensure that weekly reports are accurate
• Receives cash, checks and credit card payments from Service and Parts customers and records the amount received
• Verifies accuracy of the customer’s bill using the dealership’s computer system and closed paid tickets
• Directs customers who have additional questions or concerns to their Service Advisor or other appropriate individual
• Records monies received on daily settlement sheets and verifies against cash-on-hand
• Operates the service telephone switchboard
• Schedule service appointments
• Provide customers with initial product information
• Follow up with customers that have made appointments or no shows
• Scans repair orders

Requirements:

• Previous rental counter and call center experience is a huge plus
• Dealership experience preferred but not required
• TSD experience preferred
• CDK/XTime experience preferred, but not required
• Superior customer service skills
• Excelling communication skills and high attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task
• Highly motivated
• Good time management skills
• Ability to work well in a fast paced and diverse environment
• Team Oriented
• Prompt and courteous
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to work some evenings and weekends
• Professional personal appearance
• Experience preferred but not required
• Must have California Drivers license
• Must have social security card

Pay is $23.00 per hour
